To be honest I like most starters but don't care for the evolutions. The only gen I downright don't like the starters is 5, though I actually quite like a lot of unova pokemon so it's fine

Venusaur, closely followed by Torterra
Emboar came along and dethroned both, but I still like the former two a lot. Incineroar will shake things up definitely--how much, I'm not yet sure
Sceptile I used to like A LOT, almost above Venusaur, but it dropped some years ago

Yup. Been playing since Gen 1, but have enjoyed every generation. Have lots of favorites from later gens. But Charizard is my favorite Pokemon. It's rough being lumped in with casuals all the time.

They could very well pull a Charizard with him and have Ash get all nostalgic about him and put him back on the team. Greninja is already a popular character so bringing it back would make good fanservice.

At the moment the most shilled Pokemon of SM is Mimikyu.
He's gonna be a part of Team Rocket too, so he'll be a constantly re-occuring character there.
But I doubt a ghost under a rag is gonna be much of a fighter so Inciniroar or Decidueye would be the Smash contender there.
