Considering the fact that it's shorter and lighter than regular Marowak, it might be faster. It might even become a special attacker, though I sort of doubt that.

Also, it keeps Lightning Rod, and a Pokemon that can't be burned or paralyzed is already good in this sense.

In the reveal trailer of Alolan Marowak, it'a using a very strange move on Haunter. There's purple flames, and it hits Haunter with a glowing purple bone. And it makes the super effective sound effect, so it's definitely a ghost type move.

Is it a signature move? Because a purple firey bone is pretty specific...

i used him with thick club on a uu team for a while, guaranteed kills unless they switched out because he has shitty coverage. a lot of people underestimate it. i can't remember my rank before i got bored and switched up the team, maybe like 1700?

Marowak has always been one of my favorites, so I still use him now and again, even in OU.
You can get some kills with good predictions, or at the very least he can toss out stealth rock.

Really hoping he finally has his time to shine in Alola.
