Who cares if it's not creative enough? I can't think of any other concept that would fit fire/grass as perfectly.

I don't know about that, it would be too rehashy. I was thinking something more like Hitmontop, where it evolves based on which stat is higher. Give some of the dinosaurs/extinct species that haven't gotten a fossil some love.

I also like the burning pepper idea, but Sunflora is honestly a good candidate for a Grass/Fire; Its entire gimmick is being reliant on solar power, it even evolves from a Sun Stone. It can easily be Grass/Fire without being literally on fire.
