Just made this. It's going off my memory of in-game dialogue and also off Bulbapedia, because I never played B/W/B2/W2.

Right now, we just don't know how long between HGSS and BW, or between B2W2 and SM. There doesn't seem to be anything that hints at the period of time, except for the fact Red looks older.

Personally I'd say he's in his early 20s, but he's anywhere from 16 to 30-odd.

RBY and FrLg aren't "canon" to the retcon universe anymore. FrLg was going on along with RSE and RSE has now been retconned by ORAS, so for all we know they could still be somewhere in the 10 - 17 range.

He is definitely not 30's and the people saying 18 - 20's are just shippers trying to validate that they aren't pedos for shipping what was previously two 10 year-olds.

Well, there's two things that point to ORAS being parallel to FR/LG just like RSE were. Firstly, there's the fact that the Royal Unova is still under construction, as seen in the Slateport museum. That means that ORAS definitely takes place before the events of Black and White. Seriously. You can't argue against this. Secondly, there's an amnesiac Looker in the Battle Resort. It's most likely for ORAS to be set before Platinum in this case, since Looker also shows up in Black and White and does not seem to have completely lost and rediscovered himself in the time between Gens II/IV and Gen V. Admittedly the Looker link is tenuous at best, but it makes the most sense if the ORAS encounter is the "first" time Looker meets a Player Character because the amnesia doesn't really fit well anywhere else in his timeline unless it's after XY, and we know for a fact that this is not the case.

Am I the only one hoping that Green gets an eeveelution for his team in Sun/Moon?

He can't have any of the kanto starters because that would declare a canon choice for Red, but an eeveelution is both vague enough to not necessarily suggest a canon route(especially if it's an umbreon so it erases the three paths in pokemon yellow just in case) and what most of the fandom(the fanart side of it in any event) associates with him anyway.

I just really want him to have a signature pokemon instead just having a "lol open to player history" team for eternity.

The thing is, this is all assuming that the events of the 4th and 5th generations transpired the exact same in the Gen 6 timeline. In addition to that, a common theory I've heard is that ORAS Looker is the same Looker from the Gen 3-5 timeline and somehow travelled between timelines similarly to how the legendaries did. I may be grasping but Wally's slightly-older-but-not-that-much-older appearance is really troubling me.

I think Red will have his HGSS team whereas Blue will probably have his team from GSC. I'd say Blue would have his HGSS team as well but for some reason they replaced Alakazam with a Machamp, which isn't something he has in any other main series game as far as I can tell.

The timeline I posted in >>29511489 comes from the series' head scenario writer and came out during Gen 6. There's really no reason for ORAS to go anywhere in the timeline other than where R/S went.

I honestly think that, instead of Blue being the Jerk rival to Red's protag role, I think Red serves as the Silver to Blue's Gold/Ethan/Kris/Lyra, if that makes sense. Blue acts more like a traditional trainer, while Red seems more serious about battling, and seems to keep his silence for a reason, especially so now that it's being acknowledged. It actually has me worried a little.
