Heel wrestlers often disdain fighting opponents that they deem to be "beneath them".

In any event, the whole point of the Heel is that it's a role they play.

His bio also states that he'll show no concern for others and will even attack opposing trainers. He also uses dirty tactics when fighting.

He has a soft spot and an honorable streak, but a fun battle for him means being dangerously vicious. He's playing a part, but he chose to be a heel for a reason.
