It just made ghost and psychic types more common. The game is still dead and normies won't go back.

Only way to get people playing again is gen 2, and they should have done that in August while GO was losing steam.

I bet that at some point instead of updating with gen 2, they'll just cherry pick the good Pokemon from later gens.

Then genwunners will preach that the "GOdex" is better than the real one.
