You wouldn't be able to throw them at all if they weren't able to be used.

Well I mean, when you send out a Pokemon that's been transferred it can be in a ball that's not available in the game. I was just making sure it had its own animation for capturing because if it didn't then the moon ball would just be there for the Pokemon that already have it prior to the Sun & Moon
