Unova and Kalos are way too over the top but the Indigo league was too bland.

This. Hoenn looks traditional and royal. Kalos at night looks very regal and mystical and overall impressive. But 2bh I think johto looks so bland its basically just a small center in the middle of no where with flowers. At least sinnoh is a castle and thus enchanting

Kalos might be shit in certain respects, but the one thing they really did well was the Pokemon league.

Regal as fuck, great music, beautiful aesthetic, good choice of trainer types and character designs, nice battle background and pre-battle animations. Hell even Diantha's stained glass room is amazing. On top of all that it has central position on the Kalos map.

The only real negatives are they were too easy and Diantha is the worst champion thus far, but that has nothing to do with the general look and feel of the place. It really feels like an elite zone. Plus it's perfectly balanced because Siebold is the best elite four member ever <3

I dont think it's as bland as everyone is saying. Like >>29485155, it has cool arches, red and gold is an appealing color combination, and it's not super over the top. I think people are viewing it from top down instead of imagining how it would look from in front.

Gen VI attempted to do big things for mysticism with the Elite Four. The fancy water shit for the chef, the ghostly lights for Phoebe
But it was all so obnoxiously lengthy to watch, even on the first time through. I used to replay the E4 all the time in prior generations, but this shit takes so fucking long in Gen VI it just turns me off of it. I only replay it if I want to put a ribbon on a Pokemon now.
They could at least try to do the mystic shit without it taking 30 seconds.

Expand the healstation a little, and put the PC on the countertop
Replace the linkstation stuff with the Mart and whatever other shit they wanna put in
It would be simple and functional, genwun pandering, and easy to understand for new players all at once. That's borderline ideal for GF.
