Depends on whether or not Alolan forms have stat changes. It'd need defensive investment to be bulky enough to tank anything properly, and 70 base attack is pretty awful. It also doesn't get great move coverage.

The Fake Out + Last Resort gimmick may give it enough power to be kinda useful as a bulky attacker.

nasty plot with fur coat is a great combo, especially with a good mono-stab like dark pulse. still based off persian so it won't be amazing, but i could see this being good in RU or NU

It needs 148 HP / 108 Def to even have a chance at not being 2HKO'd by CB Talonflame.

It's unlikely to even 3HKO an Azumarill with it's strongest move.

Persian doesn't really have the offensive stats to run a pure offense set. It needs to set up, which is why most Persian variants run Nasty Plot (its best boosting move) and a special set.

1. Alolan Persian is Dark type dude. It isn't getting hit by psychic.
2. Who said it will be going physical? It has access to nasty plot it could give up an assualt vest and be a bulky booster.
3. It may have very different distribution compared to it's Kanto form It could have less speed but higher defenses or offenses. I mean it does look more sedentary.
