We'll probably get at least one Rival and Champion. While that's pretty obvious for Gen II~IV, I see V getting Hugh and N for those slots since with Hugh they don't have to choose Cheren or Bianca over the other and N was the real climax of BW1, then VI getting Shauna for the Rival role since she had more presence than Trevor or Tierno and they won't have to step on "which protag is canon" toes with Serena and Calem.

From there there's plenty of other important NPCs they could possibly have, but I doubt it'll be every important named character with a unique design from throughout the series as it should be.
