Rivals and champions is the most I'm expecting. Other player characters or important NPC trainers (like Gym Leaders, Elite 4, Frontier Brains, Battle Chatelaines, villainous leaders, etc.) would be cool, but I think expecting something on the same scale as the PWT doesn't seem realistic.
