If you look, Primarina is Water/Fairy, And both types are SE against those of Incineroar, Fire/Dark. Similarly, Incineroar's types are SE against those of Decidueye, Grass/Ghost.

What if in this gen Ghost is now SE against Fairy, creating a double type chart loop for the starters?

This really blew my mind, didnt even consider it could change secondary typing.

I'm not sure why we should thank Masuda specifically when Ohmori is the actual director for these games.

But I do like that Decidueye doesn't have that shitty Grass/Flying typing. Yes, Grass/Ghost is still pretty bad defensively but it is really impressive offensively.

(And if Ghost is super-effective against Fairy like the starter type triangle is supposed to suggest, then it will be even better.)

Let me spell it out for you people. Luchalitten is Fire/Dark which nullifies his Fairy weakness, and Ghost being made SE against Fairy would mean that Robinhoot has two SE stab moves against Primarrina, whilst Primarina would have zero SE stab moves against Robinhoot.

So yeah, it ain't happening.
