Real talk after tonights episode I don't want her to appear in SM. Her end here was to good, and even though she would look cute in the SM artstyle I don't want her to have to play off of a goofy non XY Ash.

It's the same with BW how Iris wouldn't mesh with the XY cast.

Now it's Serenas turn, she wouldn't mesh well with the comedic styling of SM because of her promise with Ash and the kiss.

Honestly tonight's episode felt like it could have been a conclusion to the whole series, to Ashs story. The shot of him standing over pallet like we've seen so many times then him entering his house and the episode ending on that moment felt like it was the ending shot to the entire anime.

I'm honestly so happy and impressed with how it ended.

Like, XY/XYZ hands down has become my all time favorite anime because of tonight's episode.

Nothing will top it. There may be shows I enjoy a hell of a lot, but this series, this cast of characters who I hold so dear to me and have so many fond memories of them are irreplaceable.

I honestly don't want to watch Sun and Moon any more. I'll probably think otherwise after going to sleep and waking up, but right now, this post episode feeling I have is just content. If the series never got another episode after tonight's, I'd be fine with it. I've enjoyed everything XY had to offer and while I may enjoy SM a lot or even more then I'm expecting. XY is the show I'm going to look back on, 5-10 years from now and remember fondly.

I may, and will, watch SM during the live broadcast for as long as I can but I need to move forward in life and find a job and work towards my future now. I won't be able to dedicate the time I have to the anime any more. I'll likely love the Sun and Moon cast, but I won't be able to sink my time into them and the series like I did XY which was there for me through the hardest times of my life.

XY and the XY family, to me, are unbeatable. Ash may win a league one day, he may defeat the elite four, and when those days come I'll be excited for it. But nothing, NOTHING, will be able to top the memories, fun, and joy that the XY series has brought me over these last 3 years.

Yeah, you really need to watch more anime. I enjoyed XY too but it didn't really feel like a pokemon series to me, Serena's crush remained one-sided till the very end and she kissing Ash is not something new in the series.

Serena had incredible development, if you couldn't see that you're blind and a gigantic idiot.

Ash knocked sense into Alan and made it possible to break into the Megalith.

Mega Energy is still running out of control, Puni-chan asked for it's help in getting it under control so Greninja is staying behind while Ash continues on with his journey because Greninja from the moment it was introduced was all about being a protector.

Ash lost to an over powered Charizard who could fight toe to toe with Legendaries and went on a training arc that consisted of back to back fights against Mega Pokemon including an Elite Four members.

Let me guess, you showed up for the League and that was it? If you can't see or understand basic story telling elements you need to go to school because a lot of what took place in XY was foreshadowed or expanded on quite a bit throughout the series.

Had he won it really would have been perfect. But I'm over the loss and honestly Serena's kiss more then makes up for it. Because realistically, had he won the League and Serena that would have essentially been a reason for people stopped watching the series. Nothing would have been able to top it. I've watched plenty of anime, more then you would expect of all different genres.

XY is not a deep, thought evoking show. It doesn't make you question morals or tell an incredible story.

But none of that matters to me.

XY encompasses everything I love about anime and Pokemon. I loved the cast. The core group, the side characters, and COTDs. The adventure was fun and exciting and there were so many highlight moments from it I could talk about it for ages. The music, animation, and directing was on point 99% of the time. I even loved the Korean QUALITY episodes and those are actually some of the best.

XY as a whole is everything I could have wished for in a Pokemon series. It helped me through hard times, it helped me when my life was changing drastically over these last 3 years. I've graduated high school, lost pets and family members, gotten placed in hospitals multiple times. And while all that was happening, as my entire life was changing, XY was always there for me. This cast of characters was always there for me to rely on and always managed to put a smile on my face.

So while you can say this is autistic, that I "need to watch more anime" it doesn't change the fact that XY over these last 3 years has helped me more then I can describe and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Serena meets May and/or Dawn at one of the Coordinator events in Hoen so she can learn a new style/routine and the both of them bond over interests. Suddenly a Team Rocket/Magma/Aqua grunt(s) disrupts the battle and both Serena and May and/or Dawn battle together and "channel" Ash's fighting spirit....that or they both work together so well it feels like they knew each other before. Like how both Celian and Brock never mention that they both know Ash, Serena and May and/or Dawn might not even mention Ash at all; heck when May and/or Dawn probably mention boys and who they like, Serena might actually say that she already likes someone but never mention who, motioning to the blue ribbon as a gift.
Hell, I'll be happy if something similar to PM Girls XY happened....just a lot less raunchy.
