Her biggest issue was being THE female of the group. While many other Digimon parts had multiple females, whether support or other fellow Digidestined, Zoe is literally the only on in Fronteir and thus has to share most of the Digimon girl traits, thus losing even her premiere fight. At least with multiple girls you can give one girl the "worst" traits while making another semi-decent. Hell most of the other Digimon girls at least won multiple fights.

Fairimon and Zephyrmon are therefore downgraded to be primarily fapbait and really nothing else.

Tagiru's saga pissed me off so much. Like you have this idiotic newbie who's so annoying and bad, even most of the cast hates him. He's loud, constantly makes mistakes and doesn't learn shit for it.

And yet he outshone the veterans of last season, and all the previous main characters. You could have cut Taiki out of that season and almost nothing would have changed.
