I'm working on my living dex right now, and I wanted to use PKHeX to make the proccess easier, not to generate them, but use it to transfer between generations. If I use it, will the Pokemon be legit? I transfered some from a Platinum save to a White2 save, and everything looks ok but I want to make sure.

And another question, Can I evolve the Pokemon that only evolve by trade with PKHeX? Do I just change the species? Will they still be legit? Does it work with Gen IV, V and VI?

you need to adjust the met location to poke transfer (at least for gen IV) or the pokemon won't count as legit. Might also have to adjust memories?

At least in gen VI the pokemon stores if it had a previous trainer, so for trade evos you'll have to create a fake entry for that (idk if the game actually checks it, but the integrated pkhex check will tell you that the pokemon is not legal if it was never traded)

The Pokemon I transfered from Platinum automatically changed the "met" location to Poke-Transfer, I think. In game, they say "Apparently arrived at Lv. X", event Pokemon still work correctly, I got Zorua and Zoroark using them

A pokemon saves its original trainer as well as the last non-original trainer it had. If you have a gengar that has no "last non original trainer", then the game knows that this pokemon was never traded and therefore is illegal. Each pokemon also has a list of its last trainers countries, so if that list is empty the game also knows it was never traded.

Other than that its just setting the pokemon from Haunter to Gengar.

The Shedinja has to be transferred from an earlier gen. Not sure if it will be recognized as legal as is, but that'd be a mistake on my part.

That Entei set-up is impossible if i'm not mistaken. Extreme Speed and Flare Blitz were exclusive to that shiny event. Sacred fire, however, is only learned in Gen VI.

You'll want to put two pokemon for trade on the GTS for those two to ensure legality.

Beyond those two, though, i've completed every pokemon in that list. We can trade them now. I'm going to have to start the legends after.

I think I messed up the IVs on CitizenSnips. The one i've got in my save file has 0 ATK and 0 Spe. Might have to get that fixed.

Those legends are a different beast. Wondercards are weird. Something about the modifications is making some illegal. It's probably the IVs. Might still be possible to send, though. I'm going to see if I can even put them into the GTS and if not I know i'll have to figure something out.

I know for a fact i'm going to have to start up ORAS if I want to gen Dragon Ascent on that Rayquaza. (I've been working off of X) and the Diancite.
