Fairy at least gives it a Dark, Bug resist and Dragon immunity and cancels out Ice's Fighting weakness. Ice/Fairy isn't the worst offensive typing either only really being slowed down by Steel.

Now Snow Veil for a ability on the other hand? That is nothing but pure filth, no amount of bleach is going to clean out that stain.

If Alolan Ninetales turns out being shit it's gonna be because of the stats and not because of the typing, plus it could possibly end up getting Nasty Plot and Snow Warning as a HA which would mean STAB +2 Blizzards and Moonblasts, the only thing that could ruin that would be a base Speed lower than 100
