The Dexnav was so goddamn perfect.

It let you sweep and catch everything in an area without the use of a guide, but was less clunky than checking the habitat list.

It's a feature that every game should have going forward. Even if you don't keep the summoning button keep the fucking list on the bottom screen.

Not having to press A/B buttons to do everything. Sometimes I play with just the left hand for moving around, and that's not allowed in the demo thanks to doors/gates/people-blocking-routes. You also couldn't press B to say "no" for yes/no questions, and thats fucked up.

If contests don't return I'd imagine the sparkly red ribbon entry animation thing won't either
I also hope we have a Battle Chateau or similar area where I can beat the shit out of Chansey/Blissey/Audino nonstop for easy Exp. post-game. That shit was great for leveling competitive mons and for training LivingDex paperweights.

The bottom screen in SM is already a downgrade from XY, if they remove the most convenient feature for the sake of some bullshit plaza I'm going to be beyond disappointed. There were already plenty of things wrong with the demo that made the game feel like a step backwards on a technical level. If the PSS doesn't return under a new name or function with similar universal accessibility, it'll be like GameFreak fell down the staircase they've been struggling up for 20 years.

I was really hoping that wouldn't be the ditched feature from OEAS. It makes encountering Pokemon so much more enjoyable than just running back and forth.

The bike. I'm ok with HMs going out, but the bike is convenient.

I love that Hyper Training exists, because while I don't have the patience to breed for competitive mons anymore, and did shamefully hack IVs in my Pokemon, I *only* hacked IVs, I still bred for:

>natures
>pokeballs
>still EV trained

But with Hyper Training I can just hack 999 Bottle Caps in and never even have to use PkHex anymore. My moralfag heart is now slightly more at peace.
If bottle caps are reasonable to get I might not even hack them, but from the look of things they will be.

Of course this is all assuming there is a reasonably fast way to get to level 100, if not then I'll still have to use PkHex, fuck.

Bikes, triple battles, and the grid system. I thought what we had in gen 6 was pretty good. You have the option to walk without being aligned to the grid but you still use the d-pad if you want. I still use the d-pad for walking most of the time, it felt weird using the c-pad the whole time during the demo.
