ORAS is a quite bit better than I was led to believe by /vp/. I just got past the 8th gym and headed to EverGrande. Also found my first shiny during the main story. It's a Xatu

Having a closed Mauville Game Corner, the Trick House being reduced from 8 levelst to 6,and the lack of Gym Leader rematches, are three things that hurt ORAS significantly.

Ok this is weird for me. I played AS and it was good but I got board after Kyogre. I got OR and I'm past Wattson same as OP and it feels fresher and funner than AS despite being the same game with minimal differences.

No Pokegame will ever have a Game Corner again because of anti-gambling pressure from parent organizations (weird no one seems to call this a deal breaker in HGSS... it's almost like ORAS hate is a meme). The puzzle house challenges themselves were improved: addition by subtraction. It would be nice to battle gym leaders again, wish they had included this in the post-game.

I concede one of three critiques. None of these are really (((significant))) though. It's a great game, one of the best in the series.
