I'm still with the possible split evos. The demo had to split off from the actual game at some point. Especially considering the time needed to translate new lines and stuff and debugging the demo.

It's possible, slim though it may be, that there maybe something we aren't going to see until launch.

Not him but while I agree with you, it's not so much that the demo was made early in development, it's that is its own separate thing from the game.

I takes some assets from the full product to give you an idea of how it'll play out. It's not an early version of the finalized game, it's an entirely different program that uses the same "foundation blocks" as the game itself, if that makes any sense.
