Bruxish's speed doesn't matter anyway because it's known to learn Aqua Jet. Since U-turn doesn't have priority, it can smack the birb with a SE hit before it uses that anyway.
And why would you want Bruxish to have speed instead of balk?

I'm sort of hoping Bruxish will somehow end up being really good, or fill some sort of niche.

Game Freak won't deliver that to me, but it's fun to imagine, such a lovely sight being widespread used.

Do we even know if Dazzling/Queenly Majesty blocks normal moves that have had their priority boosted by Gale Wings/Prankster yet? The moves that we've seen so far have been moves with higher priority by default.
