Serperior has a good design.
So does Samurott if you get over the change from Dewott. Infact it's not that radical compared to other evos.
And Emboar....Is meh.

Honestly, its just the viability that's wrong with the 5th Gen starters. Serperior needs a good special movepool, and Samurott should've been Water/Fighting.

Emboar would need the most radical changes.

I like Samurott and Serperior a lot actually.

Emboar leaves me with something to be desired, but with a few minir design tweaks I think I could like it.

Its a shame GameFreak had a collective stroke when giving them moves, stats, and types.

Me too, anon, me too. I don't get what's to hate about the Gen 5 starters.
I really don't like the middle forms at all, though. Dewott is disgusting. I guess I didn't have any expectations or anything, it took me like a year to understand the line was supposed to be about Samurais, I thought Samurott impaled stuff with its horn.

I unironically think Samurott looks pretty cool. I enjoyed the surprise and I think it's an alright design. The only reason people say it's dumb is because they always use the lazily-animated anime as proof.

Samurott is still my favorite water starter. Just wish that GF made it Water/Fighting and give it Scared Sword.

And to improve the others, make Serperior type Grass/Psychic and Pignite n Emboar a Fire/Dark type.

I like sammurott for the same reasons I like Zinogre. Emboars a top tier Fire Starter and Serperior goes without saying. The real dog shit starter final Evos are Torterra and Delphox. What entirely vapid designs.
