I expected a lot from Sun and Moon. The NicoNico stream last night really had my hopes down. The first few Pokémon we will encounter are old ones that are barely interesting. I was hoping to catch Alolan Pokémon early on.

I don't like the lighting artifacts or whatever that I assume are caused by the lighting system. They're most noticeable in the demo when walking across the beach in Ten Carat Hill; it's like two or three faint bright lines that appear across the screen.

Alolan forms were a non-stop stream of let downs after the initial reveal, made worse by the fact that fan artists actually put thought into what Alolan forms should look like, eventually capping off with the fucking Dugtrio and Persian.

The fact that dynamic trainer music has gone that way of dynamic battle music.

The Alola native Pokemon for the most part are fine, but then you realize that a lot of Pokemon that would have fit PERFECTLY with the Alola aesthetic weren't put in the game because they were in Kalos and Gamefreak seemed to prioritize certain other Pokemon getting in because they weren't available in Kalos

Luvdisc is fucking in the game and still only exists as a "Heart Scale" farm gimmic mon

We got a whole new game, new starters, new pokemon, new region, new story, new graphics which Im sure NONE of you expected. No they arent great but they're a lot better than XY in regards to the art style. Fuck textures, its a cartoon. Plus new features.
