Anyone else here really autistic about the gender of their Pokemon?
>>29390520
Yup. I only use male Pokemon unless it has a feminine design or female only.
>>29390520
She's cute
it seems as if most pokemon skew twoards being male but i try not to have an all male team. i like having 2-3 female pokemon. so if there's a pokemon that i want, i'll sometimes hunt for one for a long time until i get it in the gender that i want.
It all depends on what nicknames I can come up with.
Slightly. I don't really care.
>>29390568
Literally me
On rare occasions i won't care though
Like a bred a perfect iv female lucario once
This fucking shit. I cant stand a male meganium or female machop
>>29390675
Same, I like to use some of each.
I plan to use female luchalitten and female rowlet3 this time around. I used a male chesnaught last gen.
>>29390520
Yes. Girly Pokemon MUST be female if I plan on using it.
>>29390520
i don't give a damn
>male Litten3
>female Popplio3
>either for Rowlet3
>>29390520
Not really, but pokemon like gardevoir need to be male.
>>29390520
Not really
If the perfect Slakoth I DexNav'd for my in-game run is a girl, so be it
>>29390520
No, because I'm not a fucking idiot.at least for these kind of nonsensical things
>>29390697
>>29390568
Are you guys literally me? The only exception was when I caught a female Azurill in X because I didn't know they patched out the chance that it could change genders.
>>29390520
I cared in gen II by doing things like >>29390568
but starting in gen III when I realize that I have to care about Natures and abilities, I didn't care about gender anymore, except for my ace
>>29390520
I only want my popmaid only if he is a trap
>>29390520
For in-game runs yeah, but if I'm breeding for stats I don't waste my time trying to get one with the "right gender"
>>29390520
Extremely actually
I might be autistic truth be told....
>>29390520
Tfw Shiny chikorita in Crystal was gender locked to male because of IVs. Tfw never could beat Crystal with a shiny female chikorita named Autumn
>>29390520
Very. I only catch Pokémon as the gender I see fit. I'd never catch a male member of the Oddish family or a female member of the Sandile family, for example.
Super nervous about trading over my teams from the RBY VC versions. I'll shoot myself in the foot if my Rapidash is male or my Omastar is female or anything else.
I only really get autistic about certain Bug types.
>Beedrill must always be female because worker bees wasps are female and male drones of both species do not have stingers.
>Ariados/Galvantula must be female because in many spider species the female is larger and stronger than the male
>Scyther/Scizor can go either way but I prefer females for the pop culture head eating thing
>Heracross must be male because the male beetles are the ones that fight over breeding rights
Mostly just for the ones I actually use. I don't give a shit about Kricketune but if I used one I'd probably have to make it male because only male crickets chirp. Otherwise I don't care about a Pokemon's gender unless there's some IRL biological reason for a 50/50 split to be bullshit.
>>29390520
To an extent.
I wont use a male Mawile, or Mismagius and likewise wont use female Machamp and wailord.
I used to be. All of my pokemon had to be female, no matter what. Then I got my cat, who is male. (He is my best friend in the world)
After that, I was totally fine with either gender.

I used a female Machoke in my last nuzlocke. I named her Xena, and she was a blast to play with. I grew so fond of her, I'll probably keep one on my roster from now on.
