They have no priority and based off of moves not types
There purpose was to make shitmon useful when all it does is give already strong mons a new weapon

But hey, other than that, the game looks really cool. Can't wait for fighting UBs and Team Skull. I even like the starters.

The good:

The bad:

Overall it's shaping up to be a good game. We still don't know anything about competitive, the post game, the story of the game, the online experience or the level design and yet there is a couple of shitposters saying the game will be shit because it's easier (any "hard" Pokémon part can be easily solved by farming AMD buying Potions), because there doesn't seem to be too many new Pokémon and because the OST has less songs than other games. That's literally it.

That shitposter doesn't even explain why the game is gonna be bad, he just goes into every thread with a "everyone knows it's gone be shit and you're a duck shill if you disagree :DD" attitude.

Just three (THREE) more evolutionary branches+ 2 fossil mons could've saved it! (INB4 MUH Hawaii, look at Hoenn).

It's not that often that GF will actually give a new Gen a ton of completely new pokemon. They've only done it in Gens 1, 3, and 5. Every other Gen has been supplemented with stuff like baby pokemon, third stage evolutions for old pokemon, mega evolutions, and now we have Alolan variants. They try their hardest to not give us too many wholly new, original pokemon.
