What did he mean by this?
Regardless, has to be Lacunosa. Gen V had some great towns, so I'll mention my #2 is Virbank, #3 is Accumula, #4 is Icirrus, and #5 is Village Bridge. Honorable mentions include Nimbasa, Aspertia, and Lentimas.
I don't have a favorite, none of them were memorable besides the mess that is Castelia city.
>>29383011
probably Humilau
BW/2 didn't have many towns that really stood out like previous gens' towns did for me
>>29383011
i think i spent most time in undella and humilau
Village bridge is great

BW are the only games where I have no idea wtf the locations are called.
Anyway, my favourite is probably the area in the volcano-ish area in BW2.
If not, the snowy city with the Ice gym.

>>29383077
A lot of people hold the belief that Undella is the comfiest town in Unnova. I figured that the picture didn't have to be my personal pick of the bunch. It isn't like I posted Saffron City or something totally random
>>29383011
Best music best town
Virbank City. I hate Pokestar Studios but the actual city, music, and the gym are great. Also the complex is a great bonus, great Pokemon selection there.

>>29383011
Nacrene City come to think of it. Or Virbank
Driftveil city has the best music

None,desu
Unova is kinda ugly
>>29383193
calm down. I never said I didn't like the games, the towns just weren't as noteworthy as in other games. where Unova really shines is in its landmarks and side areas.
Floccesy, Virbank and Humilau are the perfect trio.
>>29383189
I think it also had the coolest gym leader, manly as fuck cowboy. Possibly the best gym leader ever
>>29383222
>literally my mom's Crash Bandicoot music
Castelia. Urban cities make me feel comfy, just like irl.
Black city gets an honorable mention for the aesthetic.
>>29383044
This is the only right answer. That theme during Autumn-Spring.;_;
>>29383236
I'd say overall Unova has better towns than Sinnoh, Kanto and Kalos. Sinnoh especially was so damn boring.
>>29383078
Literally every single town from Unova (besides maybe the first two or so) are memorable. If you want actually unmemorable towns, play the mess that is X and Y.
>>29383471
Maybe if black/white was your first pokemon game you could think that.
XY had Geosenge, Shalour, and Laverre.
>>29383683
3 whole towns out of how many?
>>29384229
better than 0

>>29383471
If anything, one of XY's strongest points were the neat areas all over Kalos. To add to the list above, Snowbelle was probably the best snow city yet, and Anistar had some interesting lore behind it. The landmarks and cities in XY were certainly memorable, and stylistically it shares a lot of similarities with Gen 5
Unova is comfy as fuck. Kalos feels a little too theme park like.
>>29383223
t. guy who skipped gen v
>>29383683
>Laverre
is that the fairy tale town, that shit felt out-of-place as fuck.
>>29383683
>shalour
You're fucking kidding me. Who in their right mind would consider that a good and memorable city? The music is ass, the town is poorly laid out, it has no distinct vibe or theme or architecture, and it's bland overall.
Geosenge is alright. Music is good at least. Laverre, Lumiose, Cyllage, Dendemille, and Snowbelle are the only towns that actually appeal to me in XY, vs Accumula, Nacrene, Virbank, Humilau, Village Bridge, Lentimas, Undella, Opelucid, Icirrus, Driftveil, Nimbasa, Aspertia, Anville, White Forest, and Lacunosa. And, believe it or not, I'm being more selective with my Unova choices than my Kalos choices.
The remaining Unova towns aren't even bad, either. Mistralton would be more interesting than almost all the Kalos cities alone.
>>29384726
Anistar is also good. But that's it, full stop.
I kind of want to give B/W another go. I didn't like it the times I tried, but it's also the game I know the least about.
>>29384576
best town music
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gju6j3f2xTc
>>29384767
The only good thing about Anistar is the music and the trippy gym, other than that, it's an average town with a huge rock in it.
>>29383683
I've been playing since RB and honestly only DPPt and Kalos had unmemorable, boring cities.
>>29384576
This place is wonderful
>>29384792
Don't get me wrong: I love that theme. But I have to give it to Lacunosa. I could listen to it on loop for the remainder of my life.

Most of the Unova town themes give me chills when I listen to them, holy fuck. Good memories.
(I want to post this in caps to give the impression that I'm really excited and nostalgic at the same time but people would rightfully call me retarded)
>>29383683
Lavvare is literally supposed to be based on Ecruteak
>>29383011
Village Bridge is my favorite. I really like to just hang around there and listen to diffrent versions of the music using differnet instruments.
I would love to live here

i do like it though
i was just trying to say like It's weird that i am nostalgic for the time when that game came out
>>29383011
Castelia. I feel like it was the first "WOAH BIG CITY" in Pokemon.
>>29385945
I'm retarded and interpreted what you said the wrong way. Sorry. Have a Roxie as an apology.
The thing I liked about Unova was the amount of places that told you "Yeah, people actually live in this world", not only in apparent activity (like the traffic in the overpasses) but the fact that Pokemon flocked to manmade places, often abandoned. I really hope S/M delivers on that aspect.
Floccesy Town in really relaxing.
Also, it's raining almost everytime, nice thing.
Anville Town.
