I don't get it...

I like the ideas of a South American region or an urban European region but after Alola and Kalos we need something very different. Definitely a cold desolate region, preferably part of Russia, would settle for part of Canada or Alaska. Scandinavia feels too close to Kalos for my taste.

All the Scandinavian countries would be great, plus if the games coming to Switch they can show off them snow physics.

Also Norse Mythology will play a big role in Gen 8. Having Pokemon or Ultra Beasts based on the Norse Gods such as the Thor Pokemon being a Electric/Steel type and the Loki Pokemon being the Dark/Psychic type. The whole plot could be about the second coming of Ragnarok.
