It honestly looks like something out of Yokai Watch. I don't mind Pokemon that look like objects and love Aegislash's line but I'm not feeling this one at all.

It's ugly for me but in a good way, I can understand why they did instead of like a cutlass line for sure (aka Aegislash exists lol) but I am super curious it's typing, ability and stats. MAYBE Water/Ghost or Steel Ghost if we get lucky Water/Steel (cause Empoleon is like only other one right?) but feel like it's gonna be Ghost type no matter what cause the only other ones minus legends are Mimikyu and Alolan Marowak.

This is the first pokemon since Staryu/Starmie not to have a face

pretty peculiar, even other mons that don't have full faces have either what looks to be a face (e.g. Bronzong) or parts of a face (e.g. Beldum's eyes). There are pokemon like Piloswine where you know they have a face, but it's hidden under fur.

At this rate, we may get official names for everything except for the other Ultra Beasts, the Solgaleo/Lunala line's second member (it's half and half for the first), and maybe the Island Guardians. I have a soft spot for objectmons, even though there's a vocal group of people who will point at it as a sign that the designers are getting lazier/running out of ideas. It helps that this is the closest we've gotten to a pirate Pokemon, and probably will be for a while, so I'm going to find a spot for it on my team. Gonna be hard if its another ghost though, I already can't decide between Pallosand and Mimikyu.

Reminds me a lot of magnemite in how its a bunch of related objects stuck together to make a fictional creature, except instead of a regular eye, its got the compass eye thing. I quite like it.
