NO GENDER DIFFERENCES ON THE NEW MONS?
THATS RARE
>>29377416
Gen V started this with Unfezant and Frillish line.
Gen VI continued this with Pyroar, and expanded this with Meowstic by adding different HA and a slighty different movepool depending on the gender.

>what is gen 4
Not trying to bust your balls, but gender differences are from Gen 4, see Combee, tons of gen 1 mons, etc.

>Gen V started this
what. gender differences were introduced in gen4. and to be honest...the nidos are really the first attempt to show sexual dimorphism.

There is one new gender difference this gen, if you look at the Pokedex sprites.
Spinda seems to have a male and female Pokedex sprite, weirdly enough

Spinda M, basically the same model that was used in XY and ORAS

I know Gender Differences exist since Gen IV, I'm just saying that starting Gen V the Gender Differences only exist on some families and that they are most notable.

And Spinda F, with new "oh no!" Mouth. The pair has shiny sprite too, which I won't post
I was wondering this, didn't gen 6 had gender differences, albeit small noticable ones? I definitely remember Chesnaught being shorter (?) if it happened to be a female.
I kind of enjoy them, only because it makes male/females more distinguished from one another.
Even Ratatta, Raticate, and Raichu who have gender differences in original form, don't have gender differences in their Alolan forms.
But I was expecting at least Salandit's evo to have M/F gender differences.
