Blaziken's stats are only good because it gets Speed Boost to patch up that massive weakness.

Without it it has one of the shittiest stat spreads among the fire starters.

Rowlet3 is probably getting that kick move from Tsareena, considering Rowlet's dex mentions its strong kicks.

As far as litten's stats go, it looks like this thing is a Naive nature, it's unlikely it's SpD is naturally that low and its Spe naturally that high at such a low level.

Calcing back litten's rough stat spread showed me its stats are funky non-5 multiple numbers, which greatly displeases me. Oh well.

Cats are naturally fast and nimble; their attacks can be lethal.
That alone implies that Litten3 has all potential to be fast and hard hitting.

One of the things gen 5 did was being in some serious stat specialization in how they were distributed. It made a lot of Pokemon find a valuable niche or outright get saved from their otherwise bad typing or so on.

I know you can't do it with every Pokemon, but so many fucking fire and water starters are mixed attackers. I'd much rather see Litten have gone either full physical or full special, with a very low opposing stat. It's not like you gotta go 20 in Sp.Atk and 150 in Atk, but it would be nice to at least spread it around. Without Protean, Greninja is just so frail and hits like a wet noodle. Talonflame likewise is nothing without its ability.

The stat spread I see for Litten based on those pictures is kind of unfortunate in my mind. Unfortunate speed tier, and decent attack but just not good enough to justify it over other mons. And of course, just enough sp.atk to let it use flamethrower for the casual players in their regular run and wreck shit but now where close to being something viable in competitive.

Even if they took some points from sp.atk and didn't put it in Atk, it may be able to find a niche if they went to speed, or even making sure it's able to take two hits or more from a good chunk of other mons. Then at least it could make up for the lack of power. Doesn't even have to be good enough for OU, or good enough to be run on most teams in any format, but IMO starters and Pokemon with that BST should at least be half decent given how "difficult" they are to get in game. (I use that term loosely but you know what I mean)

Maybe they'll give Litten a nice hidden ability though. Or a move pool that really lets it shine.
