I'm deeply concerned about the camera angles in the game. The city in the demo gave me Azure Bay vibes. It works when going in one direction but the second you walk towards the camera everything gets fucked.

Unless you have a camera that is either controllable or follows the players back you should always use a bird's eye point of view.

The style of XY and ORAS just didnt appeal to me, it was too cardboard cut outish and lifeless so I never really could get into the games from the start. I basically powered through em. SM just seems like it actually has a world worth exploring this time, whether it be linear or not. I realize that doesnt mean everyone feels the same.
