Assuming that there will be around 8 totem pokémon in SM, we choose which pokémon fram past generations would have fitted as totem pokémon in their storyline.

I'll start /I won't explain where you would find them because it is obvious if you have played the games):

Beedrill, Fearow, Clefable, Electrode, Dugtrio, Gengar, Dragonite (Safari zone), Mewtwo

Sinnoh:

Onix, Vespiqueen, Rotom, Spiritomb, Carnivine, Steelix, Abomasnow, Dialga/Palkia/Giratina
