Hey /vp/, I've been playing Pokemon since Gen 2, but have only recently (as of this year) started thinking about IVs, Natures, EV training, etc. This year, I have also been breeding shinies so as to feel a sense of accomplishment while procrastinating from studying.
I basically want to have the best possible combination of these Pokemon as a team, and use it to battle the few friends of mine that play competitive. I know this won't end up good enough to win any tournaments or anything, but help me make it as good as it gets.
So if anyone can help me decide which mons to use, which one to Mega, etc.- it would be really helpful. If there's an extra mon that my team needs to succeed, then tell me.
Please, help me to become even more of a bullshit mary sue than pic related.
As an incentive, I'll give the first person to get trips or higher in this thread a shiny Cubchoo, Nidoran Male (no Sheer Forceā¦), Bibarel, Clauncher, or Murkrow- their choice. All able to be nicknamed on request.
The shinies are...

I'd say make Balerion your mega, Charizard Y is probably the way to go for that one. Y shiny looks better than X anyways, IMO. Ramsay could probably be pretty handy on the team as well, Sucker Punch is always good and Defiant is a great ability.

yeah, i was thinking of using Balerion- the only trouble is that none of the rest of my 'mons really benefit from Drought.

oops, forgot to say- yeah, Mega Charizard Y is 1000000% better looking than X, especially when shiny. Tbh, i wish that there was only one Mega Charizard, and it was literally just Mega Y but Fire/Dragon type.
Also, do you think i should use Aerys or Maegor for a setup sweeper Dragon Type?

Had to theme it somehow, and Greek Mythology felt a bit played out.

I'd say go with Maegor. Haxorus is faster and has a higher attack stat. As far as the drought issue goes, I feel that so long as the sun isn't a detriment for the rest of your team, it should be fine even if none of them really benefit much from it either. Of course, it also depends on whether the opponent is going to benefit from the sun as well.
Having something around to take hits, throw status around, etc. is also pretty useful so consider Jaqen for that position.

Ok, so with those on the team, i'm thinking that for movesets/items i might go with...
Balerion
Item: Charizardite Y
Moves
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power Ice
- Dragon Pulse
- Solar Beam
Ramsay
Item: Life Orb
Moves
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
Jaqen
Item: Leftovers
Moves
- Moonlight/Wish
- Foul Play
- Swagger
- Toxic
Maegor
Item: ???
Moves
- Outrage
- Poison Jab
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
Who should i put in the last two spots? And should I have a dedicated lead?
