afaik yes. Some pastebins were doing the rounds yesterday supposed to be pulled from the datamining. I made the image according to those. It only shows the first time you meet each line. A lot of 1 is repeated on 2, a lot of 1 & 2 are repeated on 3 etc.

This Pokedex is really shit oh my god.

I could forgive barely any new Pokemon if the Pokedex was at least robust and diversified enough to represent a wide range of Pokemon and gens, but it's mostly gen 1 again and it seems really limited.

Nuzlockes used to be a serious challenge in the old games if you wanted something more than the standard difficulty, but in gen 6 the standard game is so piss easy that nuzlocke just becomes the bare minimum to get any excitement at all, and even then I'm not sure because of the EXP Share... shit is still too easy with it on, I might turn it off.

Mono-Dark sounds fun but after grabbing Alolan Muk I run out of things I look forward to catching. Mono-Grass sounds easiest but leaves me with nothing fun besides my starter.
Mono-Bug gives me a lot of cool stuff to use (Vikavolt, Wimpod, Scizor, myabe the crazy-lookin' virus thing) but isn't worth it if Wimpod turns out to be a version exclusive. Also starting out with Grubbin is gonna be fucking hard.
Not sure if I'll get any of the Fighting mons early enough to even do a fighter run.
A Rock team is fucking suicide in a region with so many Water, Fighting, and Grass mons.

As others have said, could be some of the guys on first Island dex are still inaccessible till later anyway and e.g. you're expected to backtrack for Salamence once you can explore a cave.

I don't really have a team planned, so no. I'm going to use a whole bunch and just switch them around.
If you don't have a team planned or your team is really messed up by this, I recommend giving the group approach a try. It keeps levels down for more of a challenge, you get to use a lot of cool mons in one go, you can have one mon of each type if you want, and it lets you have a little variety to keep things interesting. It's a very nice way of playing the games.

Doesn't really bother me, I don't mind waiting for my team to be filled. Might temporarily use Whimsicott/Cutiefly/Corsola on first island just so I have more than 1.

Seems to me though that just because they are on the first island doesn't mean they'll be available right away, for example Bagon seems like an odd pokemon to get on the first island. Maybe parts of islands will "unlock" further in the story.
