Xerneas is my favorite Fairy-type since it was the only thing that wasn't a cutesie blob. Tapu Koko looks great too. Not really a particular fan of Mimikyu, but it's a nice concept as a sheet ghost. Wish it evolved to expand on the idea.

To me personally, I think Fairy is probably one of the more ambiguous typings.

Fairies seem to be anything mythical, magical, whimsical, cute, or mythological. There's quite a few adjectives involved with fairies, so it'd definitely be a type that's more varied as opposed to something like Fire.

As for Normal, I'd say it's more of what they are as opposed to what characteristics they have. A lot of Normal types are mammals, but then there are things like Drampa, and I guess Drampa is more of a "typical" dragon. As in, the absence of any regular dragon features MAKES Drampa "Normal". Something like that.

This desu. It didn't even solve the fucking issue properly, Dark-types, Bug-types, and Fighting-types were hurt more. Even then Dark-types have STAB Knock Off obliterating everything in the game.

Literally the only things actively disarmed by Fairy were Fighting-types and Bug-types. Most dragons can still use other attacks to break shit or just out-muscle them with their stats and movepools.

Fairy and Dark types should have been mutually super effective against each other, ala Ghost against itself and Dragon itself, so Dark doesn't have to constantly worry about ANOTHER incredibly common weakness fucking its shit backwards

Bug should have also been super effective against Fairy just so Fairy wouldn't be such a retardedly good defensive typing and Bug would have become a stronger type in general
