With x-scissor you could probably one-shot anything that doesn't resist.

That being said, that's your item slot gone, so if you think it's worth it, go for it. Scizor can take hots too, but yknow.

second, mega scizor is one of the best legal megas, you'd be trading a fucking all around powerhouse for what is equivalent to a free crit

Not worth.

The best use of z moves will be for mons that are potentially powerful sweepers but can be walled by certain types, if they can learn a decently powerful move of a type the wall is weak to you give them the z crystal for it and if it lets them one shot, or at least seriously injure, something that would normally wall them it's probably worth it.

The only other worthwhile z moves will be ones like evo boost, that move in itself probably isn't gonna make eevee meta but if there's more crazy boosting moves or something with an unusual effect on a better mon that might become meta.
