Most Annoying Route in Each Region

took me a while to recognize the kanto route until I realized that's the ocean path on the right and not a wall or anything. that's a fucking annoying route to be sure. hoenn one is also indeed annoying, as is unova one.

johto one is actually fine and I love that route because of the music

I don't even remember the sinnoh/kalos ones, probably because I blocked them from my memory

Snow route is comfy, getting stuck in the snow wasn't too bad.

The bottom half of 212 however, getting stuck in the marsh sucked balls.

The snow is bad but the marsh is worse. Also Sinnoh had those foggy areas which was awful too (because I was too stubborn to teach my Pokémon an otherwise useless HM move)

The Johto one has great music, but it's similar to the Unova one where you have to start and stop surfing multiple times. Also add the annoying cut tree to get the Apricorns. Yeah, it's optional and thus not a big deal, but still annoying.

The surf routes in DP were far more annoying than the snow with that horrible surf speed, and the snow was at least something new to Pokemon at the time. For Johto I'd say the route south of Blackthorn with all the ledges was the worst, it's almost as bad as route 132.

OP here, and I agree. I dont find any of the routes in Johto or Unova as annoying as some places in the other regions. Those two have the best routes to me. But I do find the ones in the pic at least a bit annoying

Ehhh that one's not bad. I'd say the one from Blackthorn to New Bark personally just because you need to make multiple trips to get everything. Aside from that Johto is super tame

13, 42, 216, and 8 are some of the better looking routes IMO. Not a fan of 132 minus the sweet ruins.

I distinctly remember Hoenn Route 113 as being a particularly hard route during the initial playthrough. My pokemon kept getting poisoned or died along the way there. It took me a few tries to get to Fallarbor Town; it was one of the first times I've ever genuinely been relieved to see a PokeCenter.

Lumiose Badlands are only bad 50% of the time, the routes where you ride Rhyhorn and Mamoswine are always bad
