What is the best type combination?
>>29344143
Pre gen 6 ghost/dark
>>29344143
I can't remember all type resistances and stuff from the top of my head immediately, so my best guess is normal/ghost.
Water/Water
Defensive:
Normal/Ghost
Steel/Fairy
Dragon/Water
Fire/Water
Ofensive:
Ice/Grass
Bug/Steel and Water/Ground
>>29344143
Depends on how you quantify best.
e.g. you can argue Fire/Steel is the best since it has the most 4x resists, at a whopping 5.
FAIRY GROUND
Ice/Ground is the objectively strongest offensive typing, Fairy/Steel is the strongest defensive typing.
>>29344203
>Ice/Grass
I want what you're smoking
>>29344293
Ofensively it's amazing. But sucks cause of it's defense weaknesses
>>29344356
>Ofensively it's amazing
>walled by any pure Fire or Steel types
>>29344356
It isn't bad but I wouldn't call it amazing when it's walled by so many fire and steel types. Abomasnow gets EQ so it's ok, but without strong Ground coverage it would be pretty ass.
>>29344293
>Ice/Ground
Gamefreak would give it under 50 speed and primarily defensive stats.

What?

>Reading comprehension
he was obviously talking about ground/ice ya dolt
>>29345475
>defense weaknesses
What the fuck else could he be talking abut other than Ice/Grass you idiot?
>>29345441
Mamoswine was a happy accident. Every gen since, GF has gone out of their way to avoid making an actual good Ice type.
>>29345852
because ground/ice isnt weak to fire, water, grass, fighting, and steel right? plus the fact that the only ground ice type is mamoswine and its slow and bulky despite all the common weaknesses
i like alolan muk's poison/dark typing
