XYZ22 was a mistake
It's impossible to not see the essence of that episode in Sun and Moon: the abundance of funny faces and exaggerated reactions, Team Rocket being an extremely heavy comedy relief, and even the date of the episode seems to be perfect for starting the preparation of the new series
Matsui was maybe testing the waters, but she made a really good episode and I think everyone agrees on that, specially the staff
But making an entire series like that is just going too far
I guess in a sense this episode is responsible for Sun and Moon being what it is but I still love it, even though it was a mistake
