I really like the depiction of the Seafloor Cavern. Seeing a fucking enormous whale slumbering in the middle of a huge pool at the bottom of the ocean is cool as fuck, it really gives a sense of adventure, finding primordial, eldritch monsters at the ends of the world.

In DP, even after calming down, they showed intelligence and allowed the player to challenge them. Groudon and Kyogre are just rage filled, wild animals with some semblance of intelligence, but no regard for human life.
