It's any leak THAT GETS /vp/ upset. Gen 5 sucked because the dex was leaked early and MUH GENIES. Wottergate didn't help either. XY had people denialfagging over legit mons and getting sour grapes, and of course Fairygate, but XY wasn't as bad because there was stuff still leaking while the games were in our hands. ORAS was a nightmare with everything leaking because we knew about how GF spoiled everything already and there was no Battle Frontier so that's been 2 years of people being a giant pain in the ass about that. Expect SM to be a bigger issue than XY for having the dex leak, but probably not as bad as ORAS since not everything is leaked.

I have been playing pokemon games for almost 20 years. I very much doubt SM is going to be any different, and so far I have been proven right over and over.

Yeah, no lie, I think XY does better in most people's minds here at least because we had that first week of just looking for shit till we learned that was all, and stuff like the power plant and the like where unable to be accessed kinda ruined all hype as well.
