Is anyone else building their SM team around a theme, rather than just picking 6 that they like and/or provide good type coverage?
This is what I'm using. It doubles up on multiple types and before now I didn't even like Bruxish, but when a theme comes together well all is forgiven.
Post your own themed teams. R8 & H8 is good too.

That said, your taste isn't bad and I might actually do a theme along the same lines.
Not my team, but off the top of my head:
>Popplio - Star (entertainer, loves attention)
>Salandit - Devil (weird pheromone mind control shit)
>Minior - Wheel of Fortune (never know what you're going to get)
>Type:Null - Tower (inevitable tragic backstory, created to fight an imposing threat)
>Kommo-o - Strength/Justice (Strength is obvious, and Justice because it seeks to drive out darkness)

The goal was to depict the P5 party members; the tarot cards are just to identify who is who. Marowak is there to represent Chariot!Ryuji (codenamed "Skull", wears a skull mask, fights with clubs), Tsareena was the best I could come up with for Priestess!Makoto (codenamed "Queen"), and Alolan Ninetales is perfect for Emperor!Yusuke (codenamed "Fox", fox mask, ice-based). I agree that Tsareena itself is an obvious Empress, but it doesn't really have any connection to Empress!Haru (while Bruxish at least kind of looks like and has the right type for her Psy-based attacks).
