I'm tired of people happily accepting whatever GameFreak shits out, but I wouldn't make a thread to call people out on it.

If you're still excited for the game, I don't see why this would affect you? Personally I think it's shaping up to be trash, and I appreciate vp as one of the only places on the net not dominated by underage kids who can't handle any criticism of the games.

Honestly, my only disappointments come from the fact that we didn't get enough.

This is the first generation in a while where I can't say that I seriously dislike any of the new Pokemon. Even Bounsweet, that I found extremely pointless and boring, turned to evolve into something awesome. I would have liked to get more than 70 or so new Pokemon if this is the new quality standard.
As for the Alolan forms, ithe concept is my favorite new things in years, but only 18 of them? 10 lines, where 2 became Ice types and 3 became Dark? The idea deserves much better, and I hope that fan games will do more with it.

I don't understand the people that complain about the UBs designs not fitting Pokemon.

Deoxsys didn't "look like a Pokemon" when Gen 3 was new and neither did things like Giratina when Gen 4 was new. The design philosophy will continue to change as the series grows older.
