It was recently discovered that Z-Moves can be blocked by type effectiveness and can likely be stopped by Protect. This person also mentions that the game classifies Z-Moves as having 1 PP.
Could a Z-Move be restored using a leppa berry mid match? And, could Instruct cause a Z-Move to be used a second time?

Bump
>>29307943
I doubt a Z Move can be restored using a Leppa Berry
>>29307943
So Z-moves confirmed useless now?
>>29307943
Well of course Z moves have 1 pp, it's mentioned in the game and long before the demo was released that you can only do a Z move once per battle.
Is this surprising to you?

This
>>29307983
You need a hold item in order to use a Z-Move.
>>29307943
Other stuff was obvious, but I'm genuinely curious about instruct
>>29308088
Well like you could use trick in a double battle or something.
But regardless, I think Z moves will work off of non regenerative PP.

If it's anything like a mega stone, I doubt you can trick/knock them off.
As Z-moves are based off power of the other moves, will this make stuff like Explosion give it insane base power with no downside? Nuking something with a 350BP move with no repercussion?

It can be protected, mat blocked, or even resisted by ghost
>>29308210
by downsides I mean it doesn't impact you, not that it can't be prevented
with what you said every Z-move could be protected, mat-blocked or resisted
>>29308138
Fling could still work
>>29308138
That's what I figure. So you can't make Gengar use a Zmove and then go mega next turn
