Spare me, Popplio and its evolutions look fine.

In a visual point, Houndoom spoils the balance of the starters. The Aloha starters work very well as Beltigre is the "tough/brawny" one, Poppmaid is the "pretty/elegant" one, and Robinhoot appears "wise/knowledgeable". The Brawn,Beauty, and Brains.

But in seriousness, no, not really, aside from the obvious issues of levelling differences between the three and Azurill not even being Water-Type, I'm quite content with Robinhoot, Luchalitten & Poppmaid.

The concept is good but they could have executed them much better.

Well, seeing as how these are some of my favorite Pokémon, especially Houndoom and Azumarill, I wouldn't mind it.
