I love lizards/reptiles, so personnally I still like the evo.
Even if at the first sight I screamed "NO! WAIFUMON!"

But it really look like feminine...a feminine form where the flame sign go orange to pink and no more "black mask" : it develop the pheromone quirk.
So I still hope that the male form was scrapped from the demo, would be better.

I still try to see it as a male, a smug guy like the pre evo...it's better.(Like Poppmaid male as a fabulous guy such as a Wallace)

It doesn't. First off, it loses the "ties" on its neck that really give off the bandit mask theme and make it stand out. That's what originally made it stand out to me. That, and the smug ass face which it also loses upon evolution.

Now, I expected the evolution to lose those traits, it's something that often happens in pokemon. What I didn't expect was an evolution that's just a bigger, bipedal Salandit but loses all the traits that made it feel unique and interesting. It's just Salandit without any of the things that made it appealing to me, which normally would be fine, except the evolution doesn't gain anything new and interesting to make me like it.

And no, I don't hate it for being feminine or anything, I like feminine pokemon a lot actually, and this generation has two of my favourites (Lurrantis and Ribombee)

I wanna see the evo lay her eggs <3

Except Salandit didn't lose its theme for a different one, it just got the same one but with a worse interpretation. That's not the same at all as Dartrix or Brionne. It'd be like if Dartrix just evolved into a bigger owl but without the richboy hair and the bowtie was randomly on its forehead for some reason.
