So this means you can switch in a Pokémon not affected by the type of the Z move. https://twitter.com/pokemon_phd/status/789046777320247296
I still don't know what Z moves are
>ground types are immune to electric moves
Stop the fucking presses
>>29305788
But will they be once per battle like megas or more like " every Pokémon can use it once"?
It's strange that the ring holds up to 6 crystals
>>29305788
Why didn't he just use a Ground type Z Move on a Golbat?
Everyone already assumed this was the case
>>29305885
Because it's the demo, you can only use the electric one
>Do capture challenge
>Catch pikachu
>Use z-move on rockruff
Whoa confirmed
>>29305934
>rockruff
>ground
>use rock type z-move
>it misses because it has99% accuracy
>>29305788
Seemed obvious enough. I read this thinking you'll get prompted for a switch-in which I thought could be neat.
I suppose prediction and switching are as important as ever now.

This is still the big key question, but the demo doesn't allow for us to know given all the other stones and attacks are scrubbed out.
All we do know is the interaction still works off of resistances and the like, so while you can get a one time power attack, you can also blow it and get nothing for your held item's worth.

Rock is not immune to Electric.
>>29305788
weve known theyre literally just type gem reskins since they announced them in the first place
why is this news
>>29306124
You could use two pikachus.
>>29306309
Nope, problem then is that they both are using the same stone/same attack
We already know that's invalid for very obvious reasons.
We would need at least 2 different stones to test, to see if A) it's a single 1PP attack that is universal and gets used up and gone, or B) each stone has it's own single use attack, allowing you to use more then one Z Move per battle, you just can't use the same Z move more then once.
>>29306292
People actually thought they'd ignore type immunity and protect.
>>29306369
It does ignore protect though
