You only use hyper potions in that awkward point where pokemon have 100 - 200 HP and rarely, if ever, need the full 200. Hell, they are mostly used when underleveled and using shit pokemon. It really doesn't mean anything to anyone who actually has used potions in the game.

the prize change actually doesnt matter that much because pokemon games are not well known for being hard on the money. the change in the actual healing effect is HUGE however, as you can now only restore 120HP per round instead of 200HP. this makes totem-battles etc much more threatening, which i really appreciate
