I spent like 10 hours trying to do that for Froakie before settling on something mediocre. I can't recall if I was looking for good characteristics or not, but good luck. You're going to need it.

I probably will do this with Torracat since I want a girl named after my tortie. But I have a Japanese 3ds I plan on starting with first before getting my main game at a midnight release, so I won't be in as much as a rush for her. I'm just going to reset for a female Rowlet on my japanese game so I can just breed for one easily later. I don't need a good nature for that when the shiny one will be infinitely better.

Funny thing is, when the starters were first revealed, I saw Popplio and immediately made the decision that I'd soft reset for a female and call it Saoirse, after the selkie girl in Song of the Sea. Amazingly enough, the final evolution just happened to turn white and get all mermaid like. It was fate~

I've always been fond of Astrid or Zelda, but I've always given my Pokémon Japanese names since X and Y. I named my female Chespin Noaka, and I named my Oshawott Marina (this way before I decided to start naming my Pokémon Japanese names; I was running out of other kinds of names). I suppose I will name my "Poppmaid" Kasumi or Nami or something else aquatic.
