Gen VII is great!

I mean look, granted there's only one decent fully evolved starter. And several of the few good designs are pre-evo's or don't evolve at all.

But GameFreak are still amazing and I love everything that they do. They always make sure the games are the best they can be, and I thank them for that!

It's a good thing we know GameFreak aren't lazy. By making so few new Pokemon, the post-game content must be insane!

I've never used a full same gen team (except 1 ofcourse and I never played 5), I don't know why anyone would want to. No way you've played with all the different pokemon of all the past gens in playthroughs before.

And the Pokemon they did make couldn't have taken much time to design, surely? They probably knocked that part of the dev process in a day. Toucan here, few wigs there. Then throw in a bunch of weird shapes. Done!

Between multiple playthroughs over 17 years and then making competitive teams, I've used everything that I want to. New gen, new Pokemon has always been my style. This time that's not possible.
