I generally like "it's just an object" mons, but Pallosand is too stupid even for me. Keyring, chandelier, anchor, whatever. Those are all fine. But a sand castle is where the line is crossed. Any time it moves it should fall apart on itself. Which now that I think about it, would actually be pretty cool if after any attack it turned into a pile of sand and then reformed.

Pallosand and sandy are based on something associated with kids and are seen as immature and goofy.

Anchorbro looks more serious/intimidating and is reminiscent of haunted ships/flying dutchmen, so it is seen as more mature and easier to associate with being 'cool'.
